Live theatre, and projected video images are closely integrated together in this one-woman performance by Ava Hunt, and Directed by Maggie Ford.
"I'm No Hero" weaves the true stories of Irena Sendler who smuggled 2,500 Jewish children from Nazi occupied Warsaw to safety in potato sacks and toolboxes, together with Rachel Corrie, a young American who in 2003, stood up for the lives of ordinary Palestinians only to lose her life under the wheels of an Israeli bulldozer.

Here is a message from Ava Hunt:
"I am taking this production of "I'm No Hero" to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival after two short tours of schools audiences in the East Midlands. The production was originally devised by five artists and funded by the Arts Council England and Awards for All in 2009.
In August 2010 at the Diverse Attractions venue, I will be self-financing 12 performances to a wider and international audience. I believe that the stories of these two women have something profound to offer and if you would like to support these performances, please click on the button below.
Thank you.
