I produce portraits combined with watercolour backgrounds. The watercolour element is done by hand and combined with a photograph. When printed on to a stretched canvas the effect is very dramatic; and makes an intriguing and thought provoking present or commemoration.
Printed and stretched on canvas the pictures are quite different in reality than they appear on this page, with texture and feel that I cannot reproduce on a web page. They are original and particular to you.
The higher the quality and the bigger the picture (up to A4) the better, and digital files are the easiest for me to manipulate. You can send them to me by email or on a CD or DVD.
In the examples below LADY IN HAT is made from an ordinary 6X4 inch print that you would get from a local photo process lab, TRAVELING WOMAN is from a camera phone, and IN THE PRAM is from a very old (1962) slide; I have even worked with a picture from a photobooth. So I can work from most starting points.

LADY IN HAT Medium sized image on wall. This example has an aspect ratio of 16:9 (Don't panic there is more detail on aspect ratios further down the page.)
Prices:
The exact cost varies according to size of canvas, and special artwork you may request. The prices below will give you a good idea.
The following examples of print sizes and costs based on images that have an aspect ratio of 4:3 (I can deal with other aspect ratios) and are printed on stretched canvas. They are suppled unframed; I do not frame pictures as this is such a personal and specific consideration. If you have any queries on these matters please contact me.
